PM Modi Joins Langar Service at Patna Sahib Gurdwara, Wins Hearts

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Harimandir Ji, Patna Sahib Gurdwara on Monday, where he personally served food to devotees in the langar. The heartwarming act of service by PM Modi has garnered widespread attention after videos of him assisting at the Sikh temple went viral.

In the footage, PM Modi can be seen humbly distributing food from a steel bucket to Sikh individuals, who express their appreciation for his gesture.

Adding to his involvement, PM Modi also pitched in to assist the Gurdwara management in cooking food for the langar.

The visit of PM Modi to the renowned gurdwara in Patna, Bihar, was accompanied by tight security arrangements.

Background of Patna Sahib Gurdwara: Takhat Sri Patna Sahib, also known as Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji, Patna Sahib, holds significant religious importance as one of the five holy seats of the Sikhs. Commissioned by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the 18th century, it commemorates the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh.

Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru renowned for his valor against Mughal rulers, was born in Patna in 1666. He spent his formative years in the city before relocating to Anandpur Sahib.

PM Modi’s Activities in Bihar: In a historic move, PM Narendra Modi conducted a roadshow in Bihar’s capital on Sunday, becoming the first prime minister to do so in the state’s history.

Today, PM Modi is slated to address election rallies in Bihar’s Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, and Saran constituencies.

Encouraging robust voter turnout during the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi urged citizens to actively participate in shaping the nation’s future. Similarly, Union Home Minister Amit Shah appealed to voters across multiple states, underlining the pivotal role of voting in national development and security.
