CM Yogi Adityanath: Over Six Lakh Youth Secure Government Jobs in UP in Six Years

Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, announced that in the past six years, over six lakh young people in the state have been given government jobs. He emphasized that the selection process has become faster and more transparent, with results from the Subordinate Service Selection Commission now being released within 6 to 9 months. The Chief Minister encouraged the newly appointed AYUSH pharmacists to play a significant role in the operation of homeopathic hospitals. He urged young people to consider careers in the AYUSH sector and emphasized the importance of research in this field.

Yogi Adityanath highlighted the growth in employment opportunities in Uttar Pradesh, citing the Global Investors Summit in February 2023, which brought in investment proposals worth Rs 38 lakh crore, potentially creating jobs for over one crore youth. He also stressed the significance of traditional Indian practices like Yoga and Homeopathy, especially in rural areas. The establishment of an AYUSH university and the development of Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy colleges have been significant steps in this direction.

During the event, Yogi Adityanath interacted with some of the newly selected homeopathic pharmacists who expressed satisfaction with the fair selection process. This marks a positive stride in providing employment opportunities for the youth of Uttar Pradesh.
